A note from our Founder, Annabelle King

I’m Annabelle King, the founder of I Like Storytelling. I’m also a Senior Brand Strategist and Marketing Consultant.

You might have guessed already, I like storytelling. We use stories to communicate. I’ve been uncovering brand stories for over 20 years and honestly finding great brand stories is what gets me up in the morning. 

I’ve created an awesome process that helps us get right to the heart of why a brand exists and why customers should care about it. 

But the brand story process is not just great at uncovering the most compelling and unique brand stories but the collaborative process provides a lot of clarity to business owners & leaders. It helps business leaders see what their customers really care about, what the highest value their brand can offer and how they can truly stand apart in the marketplace. This helps business leaders build better business strategies. It’s pretty exciting. 

My marketing love story started many years before my brand storytelling journey. I spent 6 years studying marketing and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & MSc in Marketing, along with a smaller but very helpful Event Management & PR diploma. I love learning and love teaching. It’s why I became a facilitator.

I’m also a self proclaimed corporate wellness warrior as I am also a yoga teacher. Yoga always helped me do better marketing work. My love for marketing, education & yoga brought about the creation of the Mindful Marketing Retreats. 

At these retreats we use the power of yoga to focus the mind and enhance creativity so that we can be at our most creative in the marketing workshops. We teach attendees to build their own marketing strategies and guide them through it. It’s a wonderful experience and people walk away with a strategy and the know-how to create it again.

  • Lauren is a social strategist & execution planner who brings brand’s voices & stories to life in the ever growing social world. She specializes in social media strategies and management and SEO and content writing for blogging.

  • Bernedette is an innate brand storyteller who has always been fascinated by human behaviour. Using her degree in Psychology, she likes to delve deep into understanding her clients and their consumers to build captivating brand stories. With her many years of experience as a Brand & Marketing Strategist working in agencies and independently, she has built compelling brand stories for products, services & experiences across a wide variety of industries in B2B and B2C.

  • With two decades of unleashing creativity, Luke has mastered the art of copywriting and conjuring up mind-blowing creative concepts that inspire and excite. His craft for telling stories has captured people's imagination across the globe. His work is a testament to his ability to blend passion with professionalism, delivering captivating work on a diverse range of brands.
