Stowel Lake Farm hosts exceptional retreats that inspire optimism
Stowel Lake Farm is an inspiring and incredibly beautiful retreat centre, organic farm and community unique to the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia.
Located on over a hundred acres on Salt Spring Island, the destination is world-renowned for its richness in natural beauty, art, culture and healthy living practices.
Participants find themselves nestled in by gardens, forests, rocky outcrops, bird-song, and state-of-the-art ecological building practices and craftsmanship.
The Barn
The barn is where we will have all our Marketing sessions. The space is warm, filled with sunlight, and cozy with couches and private nooks for quiet brainstorming and thinking.
The Food
Meals are a culinary experience at Stowel Lake Farm – with freshly harvested food native to the region, and resident chefs tailoring cuisine to the season. Daily farm to table meals are wholesome, nourishing and beautiful. Organic whole grains, local dairy and fresh baking complement the vegetables and fruits from the farm. Healthy and delicious meals are a significant part of the retreat experience!
Please advise our team of any dietary restrictions at least 2 weeks prior to the retreat so the chefs may plan accordingly.
The Gatehouse
An extraordinary space for yoga and meditation – featuring high, curved ceilings, cherry wood floors and large windows that allow panoramic views of the farm and the natural environment. The space is warm, light and beautifully handcrafted by local woodworkers.
This is where you’ll enjoy gentle yoga classes every morning, guided by Clara Roberts Oss, a world-renowned yoga teacher. Her classes are a very special experience, and when hosted in the beautiful Gatehouse, they will be a blissful experience that won’t be forgotten.
Accommodation
Stowel Lake Farm has an array of unique and simple, yet beautiful, accommodation options for you to enjoy during your stay.
